SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 
400-500 lbs 410.00-420.00; 500-600 lbs 380.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs None Reported; 500-600 lbs None Reported. Feeder 
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 395.00-410.00. Slaughter cows: 
Breakers 75-80% lean 151.00-161.00; Boners 80-85% lean 150.00-163.00; 
Lean 85-90% lean 134.00-137.00; Lean Low Dressing 110.00-130.00. 
Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 870-1905 lbs 182.50-186.00; High Dressing

   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs were 68.27.  Sows live weighted 
average price 300-450 lbs 64.19; 450-500 lbs 75.54; 500-550 lbs 76.04.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
3.98-5.03, processor bid 4.63-5.03. Soybean bids were 4 cents higher; 
elevator bids 9.84-10.20, export bid 10.60. Wheat bids were 3 to 4 cents 
higher; 
elevator bids 4.43-4.44. 
   Cotton on Wednesday: Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 68 cents 
lower at 61.99.
