SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday: No comparisons made this week due to 
limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 
none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 
1 400-500 lbs 437.50; 500-600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: 
Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none reported. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 164.00; Boners 80-85% lean 
156.00-157.00; Lean 85-90% lean 142.00-150.00; Lean Low Dressing 112.50-
117.50. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing none reported; High Dressing 
none reported; Low Dressing 162.00-179.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: None reported.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.33 higher at 71.09. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 70.08; 450-500 lbs 77.26; 500-550 lbs 78.68.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn was 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
3.92-4.97, processor bids 4.57-4.92. Soybean bids were steady; elevator 
bids 9.56-9.76, processor bids n/a, and export 10.31. 
Wheat bids were mixed, 2 cents lower to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.39-4.57.  
   Cotton on dnesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.25 
higher at 62.01.
