SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 460.00-485.00, 500-600 lbs 372.50-415.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 390.00-520.00, 500-600 lbs 365.00-427.50. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 390.00-440.00, 500-600 lbs 
340.00-375.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 147.00-176.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 143.00-177.00; Lean 85-90% lean 134.00-153.00; Lean low 
dressing 95.00-146.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 178.00-205.00; 
High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 166.00-179.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1115-1490 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 2850.00-3475.00 per pair. Medium and Large 
2 1040-1200 lbs Young Aged Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 2350.00-3300.00 
per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs sold 59 cents lower with a 
weighted average live price of 51.66. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 54.02; 
450-500 lbs 61.57; 500-550 lbs 63.04.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 1 to 2 cents lower, new crop bids 
5 to 6 lower; elevator bids 3.80-4.95, processor bids 4.50-5.05. Soybean 
bids were mostly 10 to 11 cents lower, one location 6 cents higher; 
elevator bids 9.04-10.44, and export 10.69. Wheat bids were 1 cent lower; 
elevator bids 4.70.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3 cents  
lower at 63.13.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
