SC Farm Report on Friday
SC Livestock auctions will be closed for the holidays. Auctions will
open after the new year.
Hogs on Thursday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported. Sows live
price 300-450 lbs 51.38; 450-500 lbs 55.18; 500-550 lbs 62.33.
SC Grain on Friday. Corn bids were 3 cents lower; elevator bids
3.97-5.12, processor bids 4.67-5.22. Soybeans bids were mostly 1 to 2
cents lower, a couple locations 20 to 46 cents higher; elevator bids
9.11-9.89 and export 10.65. Wheat bids were 1 to 3 cents lower; elevator
bids 4.66.
Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 62.26
