Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 15.00 higher and Holstein
slaughter steers were 10.00 higher. Slaughter heifers were 14.00 higher and no
comparison is available on Holstein slaughter heifers because of light
receipts. Slaughter cows were 23.00 higher and Holstein slaughter cows were
7.00 lower. Slaughter bulls were 16.00 higher and Holstein slaughter bulls
were trending lower based on a limited comparison. Choice/prime slaughter
lambs were 12.00 higher with good demand. No comparison is available on
slaughter kids due to a limited comparison, but good demand was noted.
