Market Report:
Compared to last week, feeder receipts increased, and demand remained very
active and strong throughout the sale. Feeder steers and bulls weighing 300-400
lbs sold $35.00 higher, while feeder heifers in the same weight class traded
$35.00-$40.00 higher. Feeders over 500 lbs sold $10.00-$15.00 higher. Quality
on feeders this week was very strong. Slaughter cattle also saw stronger demand
this week, trading $5.00-$10.00 higher.
