Feeder cattle traded on an uneven trend this week compared to last. Supply was
a mix of weaned and new-crop unweaned calves. Demand was strong for weaned
calves. However, demand for unweaned calves was lighter, as the changing fall
weather raised concerns about health and stress on fresh calves. Slaughter
cattle sold steady with no major price movement from the previous week.
