The Annual Customer Appreciation BBQ sale filled the seats today. Compared to
the sale two weeks ago, light steers under 550 lbs. sold sharply higher, while
steers over 550 lbs. sold steady to 15.00 lower. Heifers under 550 lbs. also
sold sharply higher, while heifers 550 to 800 lbs. sold lower, although not
well compared. Demand was very good today. Supply was heavy and included mostly
unweaned calves as well as smaller strings of cattle.
