Compared to last weeks sale; Feeder steer calves mostly 5.00-10.00 lower with
steer yearlings being steady-6.00 lower. Commodity fuitures closed today [
Monday] for MLK Day following a sharply lower close Friday Jan. 16, 2026.
Heifer calves sold steady - 10.00 higher except for 300-350 lbs at 15.00 lower.
Feeder heifers 600-700 lbs were 2.00-10.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 6.00-9.00
higher and slaughter bulls were 5.00 higher. Excellent buyer attendance
