Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not well tested in early
rounds but a mostly higher undertone is noted. Early demand very good. Heavy
rains in the past week is making it difficult to move cattle. These heavy
rains also hampering wheat harvest. Cattle futures currently trading mixed
following a week of sharp advances. Cash slaughter cattle continue to out
perform the Live Cattle futures.
