Compared to last week: Feeder cattle and calves not fully established in early
rounds. Early demand is moderate to good. Orders for grass or winter pasture
cattle not here today like last week, thus 6 to 7 weight cattle in lighter
flesh conditions opening lower. Rains moved across parts of the state late
last week, but it was a quick system, and if you were real lucky you might have
gotten an inch. Most saw less that 1/2 inch. Much of the state still in a big
need for rain. Quality average to attractive.
