Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher and feeder
heifers were mostly 15.00 to 20 higher. Slaughter cows were 2.00 to 6.00 lower
and slaughter bulls were not well tested. Feeders were trending higher today
however with October also know as National Dead Calf month just around the
corner buyers were discounting the new crop un-weaned cattle today. Supply was
good and demand was good on a better offering of weaned and value added cattle
this week.
