Compared to last week, feeder steers weighing up to 450 lbs. sold 9.00 lower
with those weighing over 450 lbs. 20.00 to 40.00 lower. Feeder heifers sold
20.00 to 45.00 lower overall and feeder bulls weighing up to 500 lbs. sold 6.00
lower with those weighing over 500 lbs. 25.00 to 45.00 lower overall. Drastic
decline in price of feeder cattle due to recent sharp downturn in the feeder
cattle futures market. Regarding slaughter classes- breaker and boning cows
sold 10.00 to 11.00 lower with lean cows and bulls 8.00 lower.
