FEEDER CATTLE 4271 1955 4150
Compared to last week, steer calves under 650 lbs sold 5.00-15.00 higher and
those over 650 lbs sold steady to 5.00 higher. Heifer calves under 550 lbs sold
5.00-20.00 higher and heavier weights sold mostly steady. Demand was good for a
heavy supply. The biggest run of the fall/winter season so far featured several
groups of reputation calves and loads of yearlings as favorable weather and
market conditions allowed producers an opportunity to market cattle before the
end of the year.
