Compared to last week weaned fall calves, bawling calves and yearling steers
and heifers sold unevenly steady. Slaughter steers and heifers sold steady to
2.00 lower. Light test on slaughter cows and bulls and they sold 5.00 to 10.00
and 2.00 higher respectively. Demand was moderate to good. There was not a
good even consistency to how the different weights of calves and feeders sold
throughout the week. It looked like buyers were selective on what they were
wanting for a future target weight bought accordingly.
