Compared to last week's light test of the market. This weeks heavy saw steers
less than 650 lbs trading 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Steers over 650 lbs sold 3.00
to 8.00 higher. Light weight heifers sold 7.00 higher with heifers from 500 to
700 lbs softer on the week as they traded 7.00 to 8.00 lower. Feeder heifers
had an uptick to the market with those selling steady to 6.00 higher on the
week. Slaughter steers and heifers sold steady to 7.00 higher. Slaughter cows
sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower and bulls sold 10.00 lower. Demand was mostly good,
instances very good throughout the week.
