Compared to last week, feeder bulls sold unevenly steady with no market trends
available for feeder steers and heifers due to limited comparable receipts from
last week's sale, however, a higher undertone was noted for those weighing over
500 lbs. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady. Heavier receipts and
higher demand was noted for feeder classes, as today's sale included the
regional qualifier for the Livestock Marketing Association World Livestock
Auctioneer Championship. Thirty-two auctioneers competed, with the top ten
advancing to the finals to be held in Deadwood, South Dakota in June 2026.
