Compared to the last sale three weeks ago, steers and heifers traded 10.00 to
30.00 higher. Slaughter cows not tested. The cash feeder market continues to
gather steam with lots of positive news to run on, including a bullish
inventory and higher futures this week. The local barn was no exception as the
ring was full of top notch consignments from reputation herds from start to
finish. Lots of active participants and bidding was aggressive all day, pushing
prices to new highs again. Supply heavy, demand very good.
