Compared to last week: There were few comparable sales on calves and feeders to
determine a trend, but sentiment followed the board downward. Demand for steers
was steady as heifer demand was up and down with better kind of weaned heifers
dollaring out higher. Plainer and unweaned or short weaned cattle continue to
be in less demand as the price gap grows wider. High yielding slaughter cows
were up 2.00 and high yielding bulls brought 8.00 higher. .
