Based on limited comparisons with last week, feeder steers and heifers
30.00-50.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to firm. Demand moderate. Supply
light. The feeder market is sharply lower with the latest round of limit down
losses seemingly related more to talk of reopening the Mexican border with the
out months of feeders off another 11.00-12.00/cwt on Tuesday. The latest feeder
index is down 7.30 @ 360.25, an enormous one day drop for a seven day moving
average.
