Compared to last week; Steer calves sold 10.00 -16.00 lower with the exception
of 500-550 lbs being 10.00 higher' Feeder steers 600-700 lbs were steady-10.00
lower and 750-800 lbs sold 10.00 higher. Heifer calves were steady-10.00 lower
but for few 400-450 lbs at 20.00 higher. Heifer yearlings 600-650 lbs sold
10.00 higher. Buyers were very cautious with winter storm watch this weekend
and below freezing temperatures expected. Market was lower with moderate
demand. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00 higher and slaughter bulls were
4.00-5.00 higher. Excellent buyer attendance.
