Compared to last week, on a light test, feeder cattle traded sharply higher.
Feeder steers and heifers sold with strong demand, bringing $10.00 to $20.00
higher prices across most weight classes.
Slaughter cattle remained steady with good demand, showing no significant
change in price levels from the previous week. There was a good supply of
replacement cows, which drew strong interest from the crowd. Demand for
replacements was reported as strong, contributing to competitive bidding
throughout the sale. Overall, market conditions were firm with active buyer
participation and solid demand across all classes.
