Compared to last week, the supply of feeders this week was down, with fewer
offerings of weaned calves. On a light test, 500 -600 lb steers and heifers
sold $15.00-$17.00 lower. With very hot temperatures expected over the next
several days, demand for unweaned calves was held back. Slaughter cattle sold
steady to $10.00 lower
