Compared to last week: Feeder steers 10.00-15.00 higher, some 20.00 higher
than last week's lighter numbers. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 higher.
Demand good for feeder cattle. Steer calves 4.00-8.00 higher. Heifer calves
unevenly steady. Un-weaned calves sold sharply higher. Demand extremely good
for calves. Seeing very little to no discounts on short weaned or un-weaned
calves or bulls. Very nice run of calves today with active trade. Slaughter
cows mostly steady, except a few Breaker cows 4.00 lower in a light test.
Slaughter bulls mostly steady. Several nice replacement cows and pairs
included and these sold to good demand.
