Compared to last week: Feeder steers sold 4.00 to 6.00 lower with some
instances of up to 12.00 lower. Feeder heifers sold 5.00 to 8.00 lower with
some instances of 10.00 to 15.00 lower. Several fleshy bawling calves in todays
sale. Weaned, preconditioned feeders with favorable condition still bringing
premiums. Cattle futures continued in a downward spiral today. Slaughter cows
and bulls sold 5.00 to 8.00 lower.
