REPLACEMENT CATTLE 20 35 40
Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steers sold 10.00-25.00 higher and
heifers sold mostly steady. Demand was good for a light supply but the quality
was attractive with a mix of both calves and yearlings offered. The cattle
market has made quite a comeback in recent weeks and calf and feeder prices
have improved but there is some negative pressure starting to creep in here
mid-week. Slaughter cows sold 5.00-10.00 lower.
