Compared to the last trended sale two weeks ago, feeder steers under 550 lbs
steady to 5.00 lower, over 550 lbs 5.00-15.00 higher. Feeder heifers mostly
steady. Slaughter cows 2.00-4.00 higher. Demand good. Supply moderate. Strong
feeder offering of good quality fall calves weighing mostly from 400-625 lbs.
Fed cattle will reach another all-time high price again this week with several
bringing 255.00 yesterday and some confirmed sales at 256.00 today. More of the
same is on tap for next week will several consignments of reputation fall
calves expected.
