Compared to the last sale:  Bulk of the feeder cattle trade taking place 
just outside the current window or to deliver in May.
Few comparable feeder steers and heifers sold 8.00-12.00 higher.
Not enough current delivery steer or heifer calves to test trends.
Demand continues very good for all classes.
Seller interest moderate to good.
Slaughter cattle market has improved since the last sale and this pushing 
demand for feeder cattle.
Rains also came to parts of the Midwest which held the demand for calves.
Trades continue to push record levels with some Beef on Dairy 250 lb.
calves trading at 940.00/cwt.
Supply included 48 percent South Central; 40 percent Southeast; 5 percent 
North Central; 4 percent Northeast; and 3 percent from the West.
Deliveries are current through November 2026.
Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the video and is up 
to and including May 1, 2026.
 
Supply included: 99% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 5% Dairy Steers, 37% 
Heifers, 3% Beef/Dairy Steers, 2% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
1% Replacement Cattle (5% Bred Cows, 43% Bred Heifers, 51% Heifer Pairs).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 59%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-3% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with up to a 40 cent slide > 600 lbs and up to a 50 cent slide
