FEEDER CATTLE 1264 814 850
Compared to last week, steers under 550lbs sold with a lower undertone, and
steers over 550lbs sold mostly 4.00 to 13.00 lower. Heifers sold mostly 6.00 to
15.00 lower with some spots sharply lower. Supply was moderate with a majority
of unweaned or short weaned calves on offer, many of which were of average or
below quality. Demand was moderate to light with many buyers taking advantage
of a break in the weather and staying out in the hay field this week.
