Compared to last week: Too few comparable sales to make complete price
comparisons, lower undertones prevailed on feeder steers and heifers. Good
demand for yearlings as they continue to be offered coming out of grow yards,
some off grass. The CME cattle futures complex turned lower and is pointing to
a much different outlook for the remainder of the year, packers were able to
buy cattle below 250.00 this week as well. Few feeder cattle auctions this
week, as is normal for this time of year.
