SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  
    Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made due to limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 374.00, 500-600 lbs 290.00-340.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 340.00-370.00, 500-600 lbs 
290.00-310.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 395.00, 500-
600 lbs none reported. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 144.00-
155.00; Boners 80-85% lean 140.00-149.00; Lean 85-90% lean 127.00-137.00; 
Lean Low Dressing 90.00-122.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 190.00, 
High Dressing none reported, Low dressing 141.00-170.00. 
  Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1410-1435 lbs Middle Aged Cows with 
Calves under 150 lbs 2500.00-2950.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 970 lbs 
Young Aged Cow with Calf 150-300 lbs 4200.00 per pair. 
  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs weighted average live price 
was not reported and carcass basis price was 90 cents higher at 87.25. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 63.68; 450-500 lbs 71.16; 500-550 lbs 70.65.
  SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 6 cents higher, New crop bids 
were 6 cents higher; new crop elevator bids 5.14-6.14, current 
processor bids 5.64-6.09, new crop processor bids 5.99-6.29. Soybean bids 
were 21 cents higher; new crop soybean bids 22 to 23 cents higher; 
current elevator bid 12.96, new crop elevator 13.12-13.52, new crop 
export 13.57-13.62. Wheat bids were 6 to 12 cents higher, New Crop wheat 
bids were 11 cents higher, current elevator bids 6.83, new crop wheat 
elevators 7.37, current processor bid 5.89.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 91 
cents higher at 81.64.
