    Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made due to limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 457.50-480.00, 500-600 lbs 415.00-440.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 400.00-420.00, 500-600 lbs 
330.00-390.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 460.00, 500-
600 lbs 370.00-390.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 168.00-
186.00; Boners 80-85% lean 160.00-184.00; Lean 85-90% lean 155.00-165.00; 
Lean Low Dressing 95.00-148.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 
185.00-211.00, High Dressing none reported, low dressing 163.00-183.00. 
  Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1115-1230 lbs Middle Aged Cows with 
Calves 150-300 lbs 3000.00-4000.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 970-1365 
lbs Cows with Calves over 300 lbs 4400.00-5750.00 per pair. 
  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs weighted average live price 
was 69.37 and carcass basis price was 74 cents lower at 97.05. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 47.71; 450-500 lbs 55.84; 500-550 lbs 56.98.
  SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 7 cents lower, New crop bids 
were 3 to 4 cents lower; current elevator bids 5.08, new crop elevator 
bids 4.41-5.52, current processor bids 5.18-5.53, new crop processor bids 
4.71-5.47. Soybean bids were 15 cents lower, New crop bids 10 to 11 cents 
lower; current elevator bids 11.58, new crop elevator bids 11.46, 
processor bids n/a, and new crop export 12.06-12.10. Wheat bids were 
mixed; 7 cents lower to 12 cents higher; current elevator bids 5.71-6.61, 
current processor bid 4.68.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 5
cents lower at 75.68.
