SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to auctions being 
closed last week for the 4th of July Holiday. Feeder Steers: Medium and 
Large 1 550-600 lbs 410.00, 600-650 lbs 410.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium 
and Large 1 450-500 lbs 425.00, 500-550 lbs 385.00, 550-600 lbs 375.00-
385.00, 600-650 lbs 355.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 250-300 lbs 
520.00-560.00, 700-750 lbs 355.00. Slaughter Cows: Breaker 75-80% lean 
174.00-186.00, Boner 80-85% lean 172.00-186.00, Lean 85-90% lean 161.00, 
Low Dressing 130.00-145.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 199.00-
221.00, Low Dressing 184.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1230 lbs Middle Aged Cow with Calf 
150-300 lbs 3550.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 1315 lbs Middle Aged Cow 
with Calf >300 lbs 3900.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 49.62; 450-500 lbs 56.18; 500-550 lbs 57.47.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 3 to 8 cents lower, new crop 
bids were 7 to 9 cents lower; new crop elevator bids 4.45-5.56, current 
corn elevator bid 5.15, current processor bids 5.25-5.60, new crop corn 
processor bids 4.75-5.52. Soybean bids were 2 cents lower; new crop bids 
5 to 6 cents lower; current elevator bids 11.75, new crop elevator bids 
11.57 and new crop export 12.17-12.21. Wheat bids were 8 to 10 cents 
lower; elevator bids 5.60-6.50, and processors 4.75-7.50.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 73 
cents lower at 75.73.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
