SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 470.00, 400-450 lbs 
495.00-500.00, 450-500 lbs 460.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 
300-350 lbs 460.00, 350-400 lbs 455.00, 400-450 lbs 455.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 565.00-570.00, 350-400 lbs 500.00, 400-450 
lbs 480.00-525.00, 450-500 lbs 450.00-480.00, 500-550 lbs 440.00-450.00. 
Slaughter cows: Breaker 75-80% lean 164.00-169.00, Boner 80-85% lean 
160.00-175.00, High Dressing 184.00, Lean 85-90% lean 148.00-164.00. 
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 194.00-207.50, High Dressing 231.00.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was 70.12. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 58.53; 450-500 lbs 66.35; 500-550 lbs 67.61.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were mixed 1 cent lower to 1 cent 
higher, new crop bids 1 cent higher; current elevator bids 5.32, new crop 
elevator bids 4.97-5.93, current processor bids 5.66-5.81. Soybean bids 
were 2 cents higher; new crop bids 3 cents higher; current elevator bids 
11.80, and new crop export 12.33-12.34. Wheat bids were steady to 1 cent 
higher, new crop bids were 3 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 6.25, and 
processors 5.21-8.15.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 49 
cents higher at 84.31.
