SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 490.00-497.50, 400-
450 lbs 495.00, 600-650 lbs 375.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1
300-350 lbs 440.00-455.00, 400-450 lbs 440.00, 600-650 lbs 355.00. Feeder
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 500-550 lbs 425.00-435.00. Slaughter cows: Lean
85-90% lean 154.00, Low Dressing 120.00-136.00. Slaughter bulls: Average
Dressing 206.00, Low Dressing 180.00-181.00.
Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was 67.80. Sows live
price 300-450 lbs 70.77; 450-500 lbs 78.48; 500-550 lbs 80.43.
SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 9 cents higher, new crop bids
were 8 to 9 cents higher; elevator bids 5.28, processor bids
5.43. Soybean bids were 5 cents higher; elevator bids 11.27, and export
11.87. Wheat bids were 9 to 15 cents higher; elevator bids 5.64, and
processors 5.13-7.54.
Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 7
cents lower at 67.95.
