Compared to last week, feeder offerings consisted of a mixed supply of weaned
calves carrying condition and new crop calves. Demand was moderate for fleshy
calves, with stronger interest noted for thinner-fleshed types. Feeder steers
and bulls sold steady to $8.00 lower, while feeder heifers sold $7.00 higher.
Slaughter cattle sold steady on a good test, with demand remaining strong.
