Only 1 reported auction this week, no reported auctions a week ago to offer a
comparison. Very good demand for all weights of steers and heifers, however
the best demand remains centered on light cattle to go to grass, and for
replacement quality heifers. Lower cash fed cattle market, 258.00-261.00, and
a CME cattle futures complex falling sharply has cattle feeders feeling more
apprehensive about the road ahead.
