Compared to last Monday the feeder market was uneven and spotty with an average
quality offering. Feeder steers 400-550 lbs appeared lower with a lite test,
while the 600-700 lbs steers were mostly steady with good demand. Feeder
heifers 400 lbs and under were 4.00 to 6.00 higher, while the 400-600 lbs
heifers were steady to 4.00 lower with a good supply and good demand.
Slaughter cows were 1.00 to 3.00 higher with a moderate supply and slaughter
bulls were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with good demand.
