Compared to last week:  Not enough comparable sales on current FOB steers 
or heifers, due to the bulk of last week's supply consisting of heavier weight 
yearlings.
However, a higher undertone was noted.
Buyer demand remains good.
Auction receipts and direct receipts were notably higher across the 
Southern Plains this week, as it looks like wheat cattle may be moving out 
earlier this year due to limited moisture.
 
Supply included:  100% Feeder Cattle (48.5% Steers, 10.2% Dairy Steers, 
41.2% Heifers).
Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 91%.
Unless otherwise noted, Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights 
after a 2-3% shrink or equivalent, with an 8-12 cent slide >600 lbs.
