Compared to last week:  best test on steers 950 to 999 lbs 10.00 to 12.00 
higher, 1000 to 1099 lbs 20.00 to 24.00 higher.  Heifers not well compared.  
Good to very good demand for yearlings this week.  Another large offering of 
yearlings with several long strings off grass as well as loads out of yards.  
Most of the heifers offered were tested opens off grass.  Some moderate plus to 
heavy flesh on yard cattle, grass cattle in light to moderate flesh.  Quality 
varied, from plain to attractive.  An active market with a nice crowd of buyers 
in the seats.  Much of the silage harvest is completed and bean harvest is just 
around the corner.  Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, September 23.
