Compared to last week, feeder steers 900 lb to 1,000 lb sold 4.00 to 8.00
higher with excellent quality. Steers 600 lb to 900 lb sold unevenly steady
from 8.00 higher to 8.00 lower. Not enough steer calves under 600 lb for a
market test. Feeder heifers 800 lb to 975 lb sold 6.00 to 8.00 lower. Heifers
700 lb to 800 lb sold 8.00 higher Not enough heifers under 700 lb for a market
test, however a lower trend was noted. Demand was good on 9 wt steers. Demand
was moderate otherwise. Slaughter cows sold 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter
bulls sold 5.00 to 6.00 higher.
