Compared to last sale: (6/15/26) Feeder lambs 70-130 lbs sold mostly
15.00-20.00 higher, with the exception of 90-99 lbs lambs which sold steady to
5.00 higher. Demand was mostly good for light to moderate offerings. Lamb
quality this week was average to attractive and overall better this sale than
last sale. Fewer short dock lambs were seen this week compared to last sale.
Demand was more consistent this sale as buyers competed over higher quality
offerings. Slaughter buyers showed lighter demand for labs this sale as most
lambs were purchased to feed. Slaughter ewes sold on moderate demand for light
offerings. Slaughter ewes sold 2.00-4.00 higher on good ewes. Utility and cull
ewes sold mostly 3.00-5.00 higher. Ewe quality this sale was mostly average.
Goats sold on light to moderate demand for moderate offerings. Slaughter kids
under sold mostly sharply lower with most sales 25.00-50.00 lower as seasonally
lower movement was noticed. Demand for feeding goats was stronger this sale as
buyers purchased goats to feed for winter when demand begins to increase.
Feeding kids sold mostly steady. Kid quality was mostly average to attractive
this week.
