Compared to last Tuesday feeder steers and heifers sold steady to 2.00 lower on
a light test. There was moderate to good demand for feeder classes. Extremely
hot and humid weather conditions restricting the movement of cattle and putting
downward pressure on the market and demand. Slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 5.00
higher. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady. There was good demand for slaughter
classes.
