Compared to last Saturday the feeder market was mostly lower with an average
quality offering. Light weight steers 350 lbs and under appeared lower with a
lite test, while the 400-600 lbs steers were 2.00 to 5.00 lower with a good
supply and good demand for weaned packages and groups. Yearling steers
appeared steady but with limited head to head comparisons. Feeder heifers 500
lbs and under were 4.00 to 6.00 lower with a good supply, while the 550-700 lbs
heifers were steady to 2.00 higher with good demand. Slaughter cows were
steady to 2.00 lower while the slaughter bulls were 2.00 to 4.00 lower with a
good supply and moderate demand.
