Compared to last Saturday the feeder market was stronger with a good quality
offering. Feeder steers 400 lbs and under appeared sharply higher, while the
500-700 lbs steers were 4.00 to 6.00 higher with a good supply and good demand
for weaned packages and groups. Feeder heifers 300-600 lbs were steady to 5.00
higher in spots with a good supply and good demand. Slaughter cows and bulls
were 2.00 to 4.00 higher with a good supply and good demand.
