Compared to last Saturday the feeder market was stronger with a good quality
offering. Light weight feeder steers 350 lbs and under appeared stronger with
a light test, while the 400-600 lbs steers were steady to 8.00 higher with a
good supply and good demand. Feeder heifers 300-600 lbs were steady to 5.00
higher or greater in spots with a good supply and good demand. Slaughter cows
were steady to 4.00 higher for the higher dressing cows, while the slaughter
bulls were steady to 2.00 lower with good demand.
