Compared to last Wednesday the feeder market was stronger with a good quality
offering. Feeder steers 600 lbs and under were sharply higher with a moderate
supply and strong demand. Feeder heifers 600 lbs and under were 5.00 to 10.00
higher or greater in a few spots with a moderate supply and strong demand for
long weaned and harder conditioned feeders. Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00
lower and slaughter bulls were steady with good demand.
