Compared to last Thursday: Feeder steers sold 7.00-8.00 lower. Feeder heifers
traded sharply lower. Continuing heat and the return of dry weather is causing
calf health concerns and leading to discounts across all classes of feeders
especially the lightweight, unweaned calves. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady
and slaughter bulls were 3.00-4.00 lower.
