Compared to last Thursday: Feeder steers under 500 lbs. sold 7.00-9.00 higher
and those over 500 lbs. were 7.00-9.00 lower. Today's offering lacked the large
packages of the heavier steers that the previous week's sale contained. Feeder
heifers traded 3.00-5.00 higher. Despite the very warm temperatures in place
the demand for feeders remained good. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower
and slaughter bulls traded mostly steady.
