Compared to last Thursday: Feeder steers sold sharply lower. Feeder heifers
traded 7.00-9.00 lower. The downward trending futures market along with the
typical summer heat causing calf health concerns is contributing to much softer
demand across all classes of feeders. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower
and slaughter bulls were 5.00-6.00 higher.
